The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW), Kanata Branch, invited me to talk about my book "The Canadian Inuit Dog: Icon of Canada's North." I was humbled, and honoured, to be asked to do a presentation. I had never given one before and wasn't sure I could do it but, with a lot of work, and encouragement from my friends, I managed to create a PowerPoint presentation with lots of photographs. I am glad it went well and was well-received. At the end of the presentation, my son Jeff, brought his Inuit Dog, Nunu, for the ladies to meet. In her thank-you note, Catherine Faubert, CFUW's History Convener thanked me for my "excellent presentation about the history of the Inuit Dog." She also sent me a note saying "We were very impressed with your research and meeting your son's dog."
